Liberal Studies & English Double Major
Hello! I am currently a senior at the University of Redlands pursuing a double major in Liberal Studies and English, with plans to become an elementary school teacher. During my time at Redlands, I have had the privilege of serving as a Student Director for Jasper’s Corner and volunteering with The Beat Within — two experiences that have deeply shaped my passion for education and community.
Beyond My Education
I was born in Newport Beach, California and raised in Yucca Valley, California — and I came into the world as a twin! I am one of four siblings, and growing up in a large and loving family shaped so much of who I am today. Outside of school I am someone who keeps busy with the things I love. I am an avid reader and art enthusiast, and you can often find me going for walks, hanging out with my best friend, watching anime, or hunting for Pokémon in Pokémon GO. At home, I share my space with three dogs who keep me on my toes, and I am a proud aunt to two very little nephews who remind me every day why I fell in love with working with kids.
My Work in The Community
Before stepping into my own classroom, I have been fortunate to gain meaningful, hands-on experience working with young people across a variety of settings. From managing a tutoring center to volunteering in community schools to supporting youth development, each of these roles has strengthened my passion for education and reinforced my commitment to showing up for kids in and out of the classroom.

Jasper’s Corner — Student Director
Jasper’s Corner is a free K-12 tutoring center where I have spent the last 3.5 years serving as a Student Director. In this role I have managed both students and tutors, ensuring a supportive and productive environment where kids can thrive academically.

The Beat Within — Volunteer
The Beat Within is an organization that brings free writing workshops to students in community schools. As a volunteer, I have had the privilege of helping young people find their voice through writing — an experience that has deepened my love for literacy and education.

Boys & Girls Club — Youth Development Professional
As a Youth Development Professional at the Boys & Girls Club, I have worked hands-on with young people through creating crafts, planning and leading activities, managing students, and maintaining a safe and welcoming space. This role has given me invaluable real-world experience working with children of all backgrounds.
